FREE BBC Interactive Exhibition
As part of activities and events to mark 100 years of BBC services in Northern Ireland, we’re organising a special series of BBC roadshow visits to locations across the region.
Armagh will be our next destination for BBC Comes to Town 2024 on Wednesday 21 August and Thursday 22 August and we want to involve local children in all of the excitement.
We’ll have a BBC Interactive Exhibition at Armagh Library on these dates and will be giving visitors a chance to experience what it’s like to present a BBC weather forecast or BBC Newsline bulletin. And there’ll be other interactive fun with sports commentary, radio drama, archive resources and information about BBC apprenticeships and careers.
We appreciate that this event takes place during the summer holidays and would be grateful if you could share details about it with parents and carers. Free tickets are available to book now at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bbc-comes-to-town-armagh-bbc-interactive-tickets-922890047977
The event is principally aimed at/suitable for children aged 10yrs+.
