As part of our World Around Us topic, we have been learning that we live in County Armagh. We wrote about Armagh being known as the Orchard County because lots of apples grow here. Today we looked at and sorted different varieties of apples, Golden Delicious, Pink Lady, Royal Gala, Granny Smith and Bramley. We tasted them and voted for our favourite.
At the end we dunked for apples, we might have needed our goggles and swim suits today.
